Rose Security is proud to announce that we are a newly certified service provider for ULC Fire Alarm Monitoring. ULC stands for the Underwriters Laboratories of Canada, which is part of a global independent safety science company that is widely recognized for setting high safety standards.
The new City of Vancouver bylaws (effective January 2015) require that all new public buildings must be ULC listed. The City of North Vancouver bylaws (effective February 2011) state that all pre-1992 multi-unit residential buildings must have a monitored fire alarm system that is in line with ULC standards. In the future, we predict that many major urban centers across Canada will also adopt ULC standards for Fire Alarm Monitoring.
